3 onions, sliced
2 level tbsp paprika pepper
1/4 cup (1 oz) 30 g plain flour (All purpose)
1/4 cup of red wine
3 tsp beef stock
salt and pepper
button mushrooms
1-2 garlic cloves
5 bacon rashers
1/4 cup sour cream
3 cups of water or enough to cover meat
method
Coat meat with paprika and flour. Cook onion, bacon and garlic in 2 tbsp of oil for a few minutes. Add meat and cook until brown. Add red wine, water, sour cream and beef stock. Make sure water covers meat. Leave on low for 3 hours adding mushrooms in last half hour. Add with rice if you would like. Yummy!
